1. LACQUER
For this intimate bar the brief was to create an intense and sensual interior within the constraints of a tight budget. The red colour signature was worked into different layers of colour, texture and light. Gilt&Gloss purposely selected high impact pieces, statement lighting, lacquer paint finishes, lustrous fabrics, metallic tiles to create a luxurious effect whilst balancing the glamour with sophisticated and understated wood finishes, slate, and darker neutral tones. The final effect was intimate, sophisticated and sensual.
